One of my favorite independent magazines is Kinfolk, a Guide for Small Gatherings. You can buy it at you local Anthropologie or at their online shop! They recently posted this beautiful video on their website on making bread, it's not too long and inspired me to make some bread of my own!

Celebrate: Kids Halloween Party Games
With Halloween just around the corner it's the perfect time to start planning a party for your children. This is also a great idea for Party Moms this month, if you're having trouble thinking of activities for your child's class this is a great place to get some inspiration! Here are some great games that I found on the Martha Stewart website!
This activity is probably my favorite, click here for more details!
If you're planning on doing this activity I'd recommend the cinnamon doughnuts at your local farmer's market, they're always the best!

Blogs to Fancy: Feather & Nest
Here is a blog that I have been following recently, they have some really lovely ideas on how to decorate your home in new and different ways! Here is a post about mismatched dining chairs, I love the idea of hunting down all of these vintage chairs at garage sales, flee markets, and such. It's a great way to recycle old chairs that might not fit anywhere else. I'm really loving the setup in the lemon tree field! It's got me anxious for next spring already! Which one's do you love best?
Note: If you're looking for a mirror around this size, one has just arrived at Christoffers!

DIY Chalkboard Planting Pots
Here is a great and easy DIY idea that I found on the blog, Design Sponge today. I love chalkboard paint, and the idea of using it as a way to label your plants and Herbs. I'm not sure how well these would hold up in rainy conditions though, so be sure to keep them somewhat covered! Click here for the full instructions!
Greg Hatton Furniture & Landscape Designs
Like Christoffers, I try to lead a "Green Life" and re-use materials as much as I can. That is one of the reasons that I love Greg Hatton's work so much, not only is his work beautiful, but it is all made out of reclaimed materials and found objects. Check out his blog here! To check out his website, and see more of his work, click on any of the photos above!

Vertical Garden, Design it Yourself!
I love succulents, anytime that I can bring them into a project, I do. When I saw this Vertical Garden on the Flora Grubb website, I could already picture having one in my backyard, not just with succulents, but mosses and maybe ferns as well, you can design the garden to your specifications, now who wouldn't love that?

A Very Paper Wedding!
I stumbled upon these wedding photos the other day on the blog Green Wedding Shoes, I thought it was such a cool idea on how to liven up traditional wedding ideas by adding paper to the mix!
