This weekend while looking through the Sunday paper I immediately stopped at this photograph. I thought this was such a cool idea to do a gradiation with succulents and ferns. You might even think of doing this with your initials at a wedding or an event of some sort.

Welcome Gillespie to the Neighborhood

Today was the grand opening of our new neighbors, Gillespie's Food Market. I myself went for the first time today, and purchased some good nosh! To help celebrate, Christoffers is offering an Olive Branch Tea Towel at 50% off tomorrow with your receipt from Gillespie's. 

Harvest Festival this Weekend!

This weekend is the 30th Annual Harvest Festival at the Mountainside's Trailside Nature Center. Admission is $4 per person and free for children under the age of 7. There will be live music, storytelling, petting zoo, farmer's market, children's games and crafts and much more!

Garage Sale Success!

This past Sunday was the town wide garage sale in Mountainside, I like many bargain hunters went from house to house trying to find something interesting! I was lucky enough to find an old Royal Typewriter at my first stop! Even though the typewriter is no longer functional I still purchased it with another idea in mind, here are some examples of what I plan to do!
